Milly | Pastoral Staff
I was born and raised in Hong Kong but fell in love with Vancouver after being an exchange student at SFU in 2010. I came back and finished my masters in biblical languages at Regent College in 2014. During my study, I came to realize the importance of Christian friendships. I decided to do the Campus Missionary Apprenticeship with UCM at SFU and be friends with university students. Ever since I started in Jan 2015, I have enjoyed walking alongside them in their spiritual journey. I feel called to speak truths into their lives. When I get a day off, I enjoy going for a walk and trying out a new restaurant with my husband, Evan. I also love taking care of my plant babies!
Hanna | Pastoral Staff
I grew up in a small town in western Alberta. At a very young age, I felt the call to ministry and decided to move to Edmonton to attend Vanguard College in 2018. While attending Vanguard, I realized that my primary passion is to create community and walk through life with people. My greatest love is music and I desire to teach others how to create a heart-posture of worship even in the most mundane of times. I graduated from Vanguard College in April of 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Theology majoring in Worship Arts Ministry. When I have the time I love playing my instruments, cooking, enjoying nature, playing card games and watching anime.
Katrina | Pastoral Staff (on mat leave)
I grew up just outside of Edmonton, Alberta but have visited the lower mainland almost every summer since I was a kid. I bounced around for a while after high school, attending the University of Alberta and doing two schools around the world with YWAM. It was during these years that Jesus captured my heart and I eventually graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Theology from Vanguard College in 2020. Majoring in pastoral ministry and minoring in counselling and psychology stirred in me a desire to not only pastor and mentor young adults, but also to empower the Church to be missional in sharing Jesus with the world. I have a passion to walk alongside young adults in one of the most formative and challenging seasons of their lives, leading them closer to Jesus, inspiring holistic health, and empowering them to be all that God intended them to be. When I have free time, I love reading a good fiction book, exploring the outdoors, having deep chats with friends, or just watching a movie with my hubby.
